We talk quite a bit about the fact that NewPoint is a different kind of church. What exactly does that mean? Well, here are a few of the NewPoint distinctives that may help to flesh out what we're talking about:

- A church of Christ-followers (Our focus is on enabling people to actually live out their faith in a practical way).

- Only do what matters (We don't have an extensive schedule with tons of activities – we want to focus our efforts on what will help us make passionate followers of Jesus).

- No wearing masks (We will love you no matter what the condition of your life is. That doesn't mean that we're going to water down the truth - just that we intend to embody the radical, practical love of Jesus).

- Doubters welcome (We want people who've given up on church and even given up on God – you don't have to have it all together yet to come to NewPoint).

- The church is people, not a building (We rent our facilities so that we can pour more of our financial resources into meeting people's spiritual and physical needs).

- Get out in the real world (Rather than hiding in a “holy huddle,” we get out where real life is going on).

- Make a difference (People in NewPoint will be given a chance to make a real difference with meaningful, challenging work to do in fulfilling God's mission).

- No boring services (Our worship is punctuated by joy and authenticity and the sermons are relevant to everyday life).

- One church, many locations (We want to be in as many places as we can in order to share the great news of what God wants to in your life with as many people as possible).
